With the opening of AXES in Scheveningen you hear more and more about indoor ax throwing. It is the new craze for outings or a fun night out, including bachelor parties, birthday parties, company outings and team building activities. Get rid of boring bowling or the cinema as the only option for a fun time with your friends or colleagues. With indoor ax throwing you have excitement and fun at the same time.

What is indoor ax throwing?
To start with: What exactly is indoor ax throwing?
Well, think of darts, but then cooler because you do it with axes!!
Indoor ax throwing is a new group activity in the Netherlands where players throw axes at a wooden target. The target is attached to the end of a track. Fences have been placed on both sides to separate the other lanes.
The goal is to throw the axes as close to the bullseye as possible and get the most points. So you can’t just let yourself go, the battle to see who gets the most points makes for a fun, competitive activity with your friends. The lanes have 1 or 2 targets. Indoor ax throwing is best done with a group of 4 to 6 people and a session lasts 1 or 2 hours.
Fun group activity in The Hague
Indoor axe throwing is new in the Netherlands, but it has been around for longer in other parts of the world. It started about 5 years ago in Canada and spread from there to America. At the moment there are about 335 indoor axe throwing locations worldwide. And now there is one more, at Scheveningen.
