Frequently Asked Questions

  1. How does it work?

It’s a fun group activity where players throw an ax at a wooden target hoping to hit the bull’s eye.

While we will do our best to accommodate you, you may not be able to attend your session if you share a job with others. It would be unfair to ask the others to wait for you, and we may not be able to pause to review the safety rules and teach you how to throw safely.

However, if you are scheduled for a private job, there is no problem. But please note that we need to stick to the schedule and complete your session at the allotted time.

You have the option to select a private track or share it with others. You need a minimum of 4 players to book a private court at the normal rate per person, or if you have less players you can just pay for the whole court. Otherwise, you can share the job with others and get the chance to meet new people while having fun!

We can accommodate 6 players per lane and with our 16 lanes we can accommodate up to 96 pitchers!

Good vibes and a great attitude! We provide the axe and everything you need to have fun!

Each axe throwing session lasts 1 hour. Of course you can book multiple sessions! Guests are given 15 minutes before the start of their session to review safety rules and receive ax throwing training with a job coach.

The workout lasts 15 minutes and is done just before your 1 hour axe throwing session. It is therefore very important that you arrive at least 20 minutes before the start of your session. If you arrive late and are scheduled for a shared job, you may not be able to participate in your axe throwing session.

Sure, if you’re part of the 4-6 players assigned to a court. You don’t have to throw; you can just come along and offer moral support to your axe-throwing friends.

Yes, but we cannot guarantee that you get for a private job . Although we will do our best to serve you, we highly recommend you to book your session online, so that your place is certain !

Wear comfortable clothes and shoes. Heels and open-toe shoes are not allowed.

2. Safety and House Rules

Yes, just as safe as any other competitive sport, once you respect and follow the safety rules. We have adopted common safety standards regarding our course construction, house rules and practices from many other jurisdictions.

You must be 8 years or older to throw an ax with us. Ax throwers under the age of 18 must be supervised by their parent or guardian.

Yes, you don’t need to know how to throw an axe to have fun axe throwing with us. We have job coaches who will teach you how to handle and throw the axe safely.

We serve food. For your safety, we do not serve spirits to guests engaged in axe throwing. Although we serve beer, we recommend that you drink in moderation and keep your safety and that of others in mind. Of course there is no restriction on what you can drink after axe throwing. A guest identified as being under the influence of drugs or alcohol will not be able to start or continue their sessions and may be asked to leave the premises.

No, own axes are not allowed. We provide the axes.
